COUNTY OF ATLANTIC STATE OF NEW JERSEY ORDINANCE NUMBER _________ 2009 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EGG HARBOR AMENDING CHAPTER 198 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF EGG HARBOR CITY Be it ordained by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Egg Harbor City that Chapter 198 of the code of the City of Egg Harbor City shall be amended as follows: SECTION 1: Chapter 198, Section 3 as previously written and amended, is hereby amended as follows: A. For the use of the facilities at the City of Egg Harbor City`s Lake Park, the fees shall be as follows:
1. Resident before June 1st = $5.00, from June 1st = $10.00. B. Appropriate badges, to be worn on bathing suits or other attire for the purpose of easy identification, will be issued upon payment of the fees herein above provided for. SECTION 2: Chapter 198 section 11 is hereby amended as follows: A. Camping shall be permitted only in areas designated by the Common Council from Memorial Day until Labor Day, and subject to the regulations adopted by the Common Council, which shall include the following fees which shall be paid for in advance of campers occupying a site: Additional fees: * Seasonal campsite receives 4 free seasonal badges. Deposits:
* No additional refrigerators are allowed on any campsite All deposits will be refunded when key(s) are/is returned and/or when campsite has been inspected by the Lake Supervisor and found to be in satisfactory condition. It is the camper’s responsibility to collect all deposits. NO refunds will be given after September 15th. I. R.V. Camping: All RV’s must have a valid registration. In addition, residents must present proof of residency in the form of a current water or tax bill to receive the resident rate. 1. Daily Campers = $30.00 per night/day for campsite. Additional cost per person over 4 = $3.00; Maximum 6. Includes electric *air conditioners billed separately. 2. Seasonal campers from Memorial Day through the weekend after Labor Day = residents $900.00 and non-residents = $1,500.00. Includes electric; *air-conditioning billed separately. 3. Monthly campers = $500; includes electric; *air-conditioning billed separately. Cost per person over 4 = $3.00 Maximum 6 4. Weekly campers= $150.00 includes electric; *air-conditioning billed separately. Cost per person over 4 = $3.00 Maximum 6 II. Tent Camping: All residents must present a current water or tax bill to receive the resident rate. 1. Daily tent camping in wooded area, no utilities = $30.00 per day, $3.00 additional per person over 4; Maximum 6. 2. Weekly tent camping in wooded area; no utilities = $150.00 per week; $3.00 additional per person over 4; Maximum 6. 3. Seasonal-wooded area from Memorial Day through the weekend after Labor Day = $500.00 per site residents; $800.00 per site non-resident. Cost per person over 4 = $3.00; Maximum 6. SECTION 3: Chapter 198 , section 3 is added as the following: A. Lake Pavilion and Lincoln Park Rentals: The Lake Pavilion and Lincoln Park facilities can be rented from the City of Egg Harbor City with the following conditions:
1. Certificate of Insurance, minimum coverage = $1 million. B. Cost of renting Lake Pavilion and Lincoln Park:
1. Lake Pavilion = $250.00 per day plus $150.00 deposit for cleaning up. |
