Volunteer for an “Individual” City Wide Clean Up
Hi Cleanup Partners,
As you know our City Wide Cleanup as we know it has been cancelled due to the Corona Virus (this will leave literally tons of trash around our community this year). However, we are still able to clean up trash on an “individual basis”. If there is someone from your family, organization, team, or group who would like to volunteer to do an individual clean up of a street, avenue, road, or waterway please let me know! We will still do the prizes!
This is how it will work:
- Register your name and clean up location at jiams208@comcast.net (as always).
- Pick up your cleanup supplies (gloves, bags, grabbers) outside City Hall M-F from 9 am to 3 pm between Wednesday, April 29th and Friday, May 15th. If you need a later pick up time please let me know.
- Doyour individual clean up anytime or day before Sunday May, 17th.
- Leave the bags along side the road for the City to collect.
- Send a selfie of YOU at your clean up location-include your name or your group’s name (if applicable), a phone number, the location you cleaned up, and the number of trash/recycle bags that you collected to eggharborcitywidecleanup2020@gmail.com before Sunday May, 17th.
- Return grabbers to City Hall
Please note that ALL of the requested information is needed to be eligible to be entered into the drawing and there is only 1 entry per person or group. You will be notified by phone on Monday, May 18th if you are a winner! I am looking forward to hearing from you! If you have any questions let me know!
